Intellectual Property Training Workshop "Intellectual Property for the benefit of Research"
The University of Monastir has organized jointly with the National Agency for Scientific Research Promotion a training workshop on intellectual property "Intellectual property for the benefit of research" and this on April 23, 2018, at the Hotel Thalassa Monastir .
The objective of this day is part of gaining the required skills related to the techniques of drafting patents for better optimization of the protection and valorization of research results. In addition to the topics related to patent drafting techniques, good IP practices (legal texts, IP management, technology transfer, typology of contracts, and university-enterprise collaboration agreements), practical exercises have been discussed in detail during this event in order to allow a better mastery of the subject.
It should be noted in this context, that more than 40 participants among the heads of laboratories and research units concerned of the University of Monastir have attended this training workshop presented by Ms. Souad Boussaid (Head of Technology Transfer Offices at the national level) and Mr. Karim Azzabi (Legal Affairs and Litigation).
